Stephen Atubiga, a former member of the opposition NDC and founder of the National Liberation Congress (NLC), has criticized opposition parties for simply calling on Ghanaians to vote out the incumbent government without offering any concrete solutions.
In a Facebook post, Mr Atubiga questioned the alternative solutions opposition parties have to offer beyond just telling people to vote out the current government.
"Well, what alternative solutions do you have for our country? besides what I hear lazy minds set saying VOTE them out. Like manners will fall from heaven for them," Mr Atubiga wrote.
While Mr Atubiga did not mention any party by name, the remarks appear to be targetting his former party, the NDC, and its presidential candidate John Mahama, whom Mr Atubiga has consistently criticized in his weekly epistles.
