'No government since 1992 has iniated policies like Akufo-Addo' — Justin Koduah

The ruling New Patriotic Party's (NPP) General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Koduah affectionately called JFK claims the Akufo-Addo administration is the best thing to happen to Ghana in this Fourth Republic.

He claimed the Akufo-Addo's administration was able to implement social intervention policies in its first year than any government since 1992.

Mr. Koduah made this claim while participating in a discussion on the topic "NPP Breaking the 8" on Accra-based JoyNews' PM Express monitored by Modernghana News on Wednesday, July 20.

“No government in the history of Ghana since 1992 has been able to implement the programs we did in our first term,” he claimed.

He, however, admitted that government has not been able to meet expectations of Ghanaians but believes the best has been done compared to past governments.

“When you are in government, you are affected by apathy and communication. When anyone supports a political party, they have what they expect to get but no government can satisfy all,” he stated.

On 'breaking the eight' agenda, he indicated that the move is attainable as government works to rehabilitate the economy before 2024 elections.

“We are hopeful the economy will bounce back in 2023,” JFK assures.
