Miss Egypt emerges Face of Peace Africa pageant maiden queen ………….as Uti and Matse dazzle

After a week of thrilling camping exercise that comprised photo shoot, choreography and beauty treatment at the Eleko beach in Lagos and the grand finale held at the upscale Oriental Hotels, Zimuzo Benson representing Miss Egypt was crowned the first queen of the emerging beauty pageant Face of Peace Africa.

Face of Peace Africa is a beauty pageant from the stable of by Blumoon Imaginationz aimed at giving the girl child the opportunity to develop a very strong self-belief and the chance to champion the course of peace in a conflict ravaged African environment.

A scintillating performance from the duo of Uti Nwachukwu and Matse Uwatse as the comperes of the event coupled with star command display from the likes of KC, Mr Raw, Mthrill, 2Shotz, Pastor Goody Goody, Ruffman, Adshas and rib cracking jokes from Monkals gave the guests an over the top experience. Celebrities in attendance were Annie Macaulay and friends, Zakky Addze, Face, Alex Ekubo, Bryan Okwara, (Ex Mr Nigeria), Melvin Odua, and others from the entertainment and music industry.

Speaking on the underlining vision Ify Duruji enthused that the bombings, crisis and unrest that has become the norm in recent times, Mali, Egypt and Libya tussle for power, that has left terror for her children is the reason behind the vision FACE OF PEACE AFRICA”.

Consolation prizes were given to other contestants while the winner went home with $10,000, brand new car, 1 year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, 1 year Beauty routine with bold & beautiful, a trip to The Gambia. 1st runner up (Blu-moon model) got $5,000, 42 inches Plasma TV, one year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, one year Beauty routine with bold & beautiful, a trip to Ghana. The 2nd runner up (Blu-moon Image) got prizes worth $2,000, 27 inches Plasma TV, one year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, one year Beauty routine with bold & beautiful , and trip to Obudu cattle ranch.
