I’ll never take your love for granted — Frederick Leonard thanks wife for surprise birthday party

Nollywood actor, Frederick Leonard, has expressed his utmost gratitude to his wife and colleague, Peggy Ovire, for putting up a surprise birthday party for him away from home.

Leonard took to his Facebook page on Sunday, May 7, to share the heartwarming story with his fans and followers.

In the post, Leonard revealed that he had left home months ago for work, hoping to make it back in good time for his birthday.

However, as the months turned into weeks and the weeks turned into days leading up to his birthday, it became clear that his work schedule would not allow him to fly back to Lagos.

Leonard's wife, Peggy, then stepped in and flew all the way to where he was working, 48 hours before his birthday, to put up a surprise birthday dinner in a town she knows no one.

The actor was blown away by the gesture and couldn't help but express his gratitude in the post.

"Babe, I want you to know that I see you, I see the sacrifice, I see the effort," Leonard wrote.

"Your love, I WILL NEVER TAKE FOR GRANTED. Thank you for making my birthday a beautiful experience, even away from home. I love you my forever,” he added.
