Asante Kotoko Secure Work Permit For Striker Songne Yacouba

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have paid over Ghc3,000 to secure the work permit for Songne Yacouba.

According to reports, the permit will be ready today for the Burkinabe forward to start playing for the club ahead of their matchday 12 fixture against Eleven Wonders in Kumasi in the ongoing Normalization Special Cup.

The 26-year-old last featured for the Porcupine Warriors against Al-Hilal at home in the 2018/19 Caf Confederation Cup.

Yacouba’s registration means that the goal-monger will now be ready to lead the lines for the Baba Yara based club.

He was reported to have turned down an improved deal to extend his stay with the Porcupine Warriors.

The Burkinabe import has become a subject of interest from various clubs on the continent, and the player is reported to be weighing his options of quitting the Porcupines.
