Experienced boxing Judge, Atta Eddie Pappoe has indicated that the outcome of Isaac Dogbe’s rematch with Emmanuel Navarrete will have a big toll on the Ghanaian’s career.
Nicknamed, ‘The Royal Storm’, Dogbe suffered a major setback in his career when he was defeated for the first time in his professional career by Navarrete in December 2018.
With the stakes that high for the Ghanaian to take back the WBO World Super Bantamweight title that he lost, Atta Eddie Pappoe insists this weekend’s showdown will be a career-defining moment for Isaac Dogbe.
“It is really a career-defining one for him. He himself is aware because the fight, a lot of people believed that Isaac was the forerunner, he was somebody who was really on top. If you look at the permutation, if you look at the date, you look at the information for the two boxers, Isaac was slightly ahead of Emmanuel Navarrete. But on the day what we saw in the fight was something very different. So undoubtedly it is a defining moment for Isaac Dogbe”, he said in an Interview Accra based Class FM.
The high profile bout has been scheduled to go down in the United States of America, California on Saturday, May 11, 2019. The whole Ghana is rooting for Dogbe to redeem himself and bring home the world title which once belonged to him.
