Hans Nunoo Sarpei has joined German Bundesliga II side SpVgg Greuther Fürth on loan from Stuttgart.

The Ghanaian midfielder was loaned to SpVgg Greuther Fürth after he failed to break into Stuttgart’s first team upon his return from a loan spell at Slovakian side FK Senica.

The 20-year-old will play for Greuther Fürth for the rest of the season, a deal which gives the club an outright purchase option.

Greuther Fürth announced the signing of the former Liberty Professionals player after a deal was reached.

"For a young player like Hans, regular assignment times are a top priority in order to collect match practice and thereby develop further step by step,'' Stuttgart Sporting Director, Michael Reschke, said.

"In his position in the central, defensive midfield, we are currently so busy that it would have been difficult for him to play regularly. That's why we decided in talks with Hans and Fürth for this loan, which makes sense for everyone."

He will join compatriot David Atanga at the Bundesliga II side.

The 20-year-old made two Bundesliga appearances in the first half of the season and a DFB Cup match.
