Black Stars “B” skillful midfielder, Winful Cobbinah, is confident they will confidently triumph over Guinea in the Group A opening match on Thursday.
The Hearts of Oak midfielder missed the knockout match against Gambia which led to Ghana’s progression to the group stage of the ongoing WAFU tournament.
However, Cobbinah believes the team was under pressure in the first encounter against Gambia which made it difficult for them, but expects a much improved performance against Guinea.
“I will plead with the supporters should come and support us and I believe we can beat Guinea on Thursday. There was pressure on the team in the first match because it was a knockout but at the end we prevailed and expect a good performance against Guinea.” Cobbinah said after yesterday’s training session.
The highly anticipated clash between Ghana is expected to kick start at 18h00 local time at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
