Kumasi Asante Kotoko will take a step closer to infuse their team with some Samba flavour as they welcome their three Brazilians targets this week.
The three Brazilians are due in Kumasi this week for assessment by coach Hans Dieter Schmidt.
Kotoko's Public Relations Director Kwame Owusu Ansah told JoySports that Kotoko had concluded negotiations with the three Brazilians and could seal the deal if Dieter Schmidt finds them useful after a week of trials.
Brazilians players have become common all over the continent but questions remain about the financial prudence of importing them all the way from South America. Meanwhile Kotoko will resume training in Kumasi this morning ahead of the postponed Confederations Cup final against Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko coach Hans Dieter Schmidt told Joy Sports it was paramount that the team prepare for what he reckons will be a difficult match against the phobians.
