Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals stormed the Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi to deepen the woes of bottom club, Ashgold when they chalked a 2-1 victory in the 12th Week Glo Premier League match on Sunday.
All the goals came in the first half with Latif Salifu opening the scores in the 8th minute for Liberty with Emmanuel Adjetey levelling up the scores for Ashgold in the 29th minute.
Khalif Alhassan restored Liberty's lead in the 33rd minute which eventually became the winning goal.
Both sides lifted up their game in the second half but none were able to find the net until the close of the game.
