Ron Pickings returned a net score of 71 to win the maiden Flex-It Open Medal Golf Championship at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday.
Bortei Doku took the second position when he beat Martin Poku on count-back after they had both returned a 72 net score.
In the Group 'B' Division, J. O. Amoako came first with 70 net and followed in second position by M. Joher who defeated Nick Railston-Brown on count-back after they had both returned a 74 net score.
Diana Joher won the Ladies encounter with 75 net after she beat veteran Mary Asafu-Adjaye on count-back in their keenly-contested competition which was sponsored by Medreich/Ernest Chemists Limited.
The event, which attracted about 100 golfers, was aimed at introducing the 'Flex-It' product onto the Ghanaian market.
Mr Michael Cofie, Country Manager of Medreich P/C of United Kingdom called on sportsmen and women to patronize the product for relief from joint pains.
He also advised the sporting public on the need to have balanced diet to ensure they have effective joints.
