Injured striker Didier Drogba has been named in the Ivory Coast's 23-man squad for the African Nations Cup.
Despite his knee injury, the Chelsea striker has been included in a line-up which includes just one local player. Elephants coach Ulrich Stielike called up goalkeeper Tiasse Kone, who plays for Ivorian champions Africa Sports.
The Ivorians will train in Kuwait from 7 to 18 January where they will play three friendlies against Kuwait and two local clubs.
The Ivory Coast are in Group B in the Nations Cup with Nigeria, Mali and Benin.
