The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed Kudjoe Fianoo, Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), to the party's manifesto committee on Youth and Sports ahead of the 2024 elections.
The full list of members of the NPP's 2024 election manifesto committees was released on February 22, by the campaign team Director of Communications, Dennis Miracles Aboagye.
The Youth and Sports committee is chaired by former Ghana Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan with Mrs Akosua Manu as Vice-Chair.
In addition to Kudjoe Fianoo, other notable appointees include Professor Sammy Bonsu, Professor Peter Twumasi, former Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah, and sports administrator Seth Panwum.
The committee is tasked with developing policies related to youth development, sports, and physical education to be included in the NPP's election manifesto.
As the Chairman of GHALCA, the umbrella body for all league clubs in Ghana, Kudjoe Fianoo brings extensive experience in sports administration to the committee.
