The head coach of the Ghana national team, Chris Hughton has benched top players Inaki Williams and Thomas Partey from his starting eleven for the game against Angola this evening.

The two national teams are locking horns this evening in the reverse fixture in Group E of the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Ahead of the second meeting today, Coach Chris Hughton has kept goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi in post.

There have been two changes in the back four that started the game against Angola last Thursday. Kingsley Schindler and Joseph Aidoo have come in for Dennis Odoi and Alexander Djiku respectively.

In the midfield, Thomas Partey has been dropped to the bench with Abdul Salis Samed starting in his place.

Meanwhile, striker Inaki Williams has also been dropped to the bench with Antoine Semenyo preferred to start as the No.9 for the Black Stars this evening.

Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, and Kamaldeen Sulemana have kept their places in the Ghana starting eleven for today’s game set to kick off at 16:00GMT.
