Power F/C coach, Anue Mensah, says a renaissance has begun for his side following their 2-1 victory over league leaders, Accra Hearts of Oak, at Tema last Saturday.

“As far as I am concerned, relegation is not an issue for Power FC to consider,” Coach Mensah said after crafting the biggest upset in the Onetouch premiership so far.

The victory, predicted moments before the start by Kempes Ofosuware, Director of Operations of the club, lifted Power from the bottom spot, but just one step up, and gave them only their fourth win in 18 league matches.

But the coach said the revival, started with the 3-0 victory over Arsenal last Wednesday, would extend into upcoming matches till they were free from danger.

Power FC enjoyed the services of former Kotoko player, Elvis Opoku, who emerged man-of-the-match, and the coach said the quality of the team could not be in doubt again.

“Our team has always been good, but it is strange we have struggled to cope with the terrain.

“We have quality players and an all-round team, and the recent good run should mark the end of our misery,” he said.
