Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has hinted that Thomas Partey is still an injury doubt for the Everton game on Saturday.
Partey picked up a minor injury in their FA Cup defeat to Manchester City last Friday.
The midfielder was forced to be taken off on half-time.
Ahead of the trip to Merseyside, Arteta said Partey’s availability will depend on what happens today in training.
“That one is still a doubt,” Arteta said when asked about Partey’s availability," he said.
“Let’s see today how he comes in, and whether he’s able to train with the team or not, and we’ll make the decision on that.
“It’s not ruled out and it’s nothing very significant, but it was significant enough to get him out of the (City) game, which for Thomas is a bit unusual, but hopefully he will be fine.”
The 29-year-old has been instrumental for Arsenal’s Premier League title charge, playing 16 games and has scored two goals.
