Swiss-Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Duah has joined German Bundesliga 2 side FC Nürnberg ahead of next season.

The forward officially signed his contract to become the new FC Nürnberg on Friday, June 24, 2022, after passing a mandatory medical examination.

“The club has a new striker. Shortly before the start of the training camp (from June 26th to July 3rd in Natz/Schabs) a new face appeared at the Valznerweiher today. The sporting director of 1. FC Nürnberg has signed Kwadwo Duah from the Swiss Super League after he successfully passed his medical check and provided him with a long-term contract,” an official club announcement from FC Nürnberg said on Friday evening.

Kwadwo Duah, 25, joins FC Nürnberg after a good spell with FC St. Gallen in the past two seasons.

Last season, the Swiss forward born in England to Ghanaian parents scored 15 goals and assisted four goals while playing for FC St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League.

He has been signed by FC Nürnberg to bolster the squad of the team for next season when the club will be chasing promotion to the German Bundesliga.
