Skillful attacker, Emmanuel Osei Baffour scored with a fine finish on Sunday afternoon to hand Aduana Stars a massive 1-0 win over WAFA SC in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
The Dormaa-based club today played host to the Academy lads at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park to fight for three points on matchday 13 of the 20/21 league season.
On a matchday where both teams played well and created a number of goal scoring opportunities, it only produced one goal.
A 54th-minute strike from Emmanuel Osei Baffour shot Aduana Stars into the lead and served as the decider for the home team to hand them the maximum points at the end of the 90 minutes.
Courtesy of today’s result, Aduana Stars have climbed to 4th on the Ghana Premier League standings with WAFA SC dropping to 8th.
Meanwhile, there has been a chance at the top of the league table with Asante Kotoko beating Karela United 2-0 at the CAM Park to take the top spot.
