Ghana defender, Gideon Mensah has already started training at Vitória Guimarães following his unveiling today.
The Portuguese club in an official communique today has confirmed the signing of the full-back on a 1-year loan deal from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg with an option to buy at the end of his stay.
“Vitória Sport Clube, Futebol SAD announces the hiring of a loan from the side Gideon Mensah, who will be at the service of the Victorian emblem until the end of this season, leaving Vitória SC with a purchase option of 2.2 million euros by the international A Ghanaian”, the club has said today.
Having already tested negative for the Coronavirus disease, Gideon Mensah has started training at the club as he hits the ground running.
His addition is expected to give Vitória Guimarães a massive squad boost next season where they will hope to put up a good challenge in the Portuguese top-flight league.
