18.02.2020 LISTEN

If you desire success as bad as you want to breath, you will be successful. - Eric Thomas

The motivation to succeed comes from a burning desire to achieve a purpose. - Unknown

Dr Martin Luther King Jr had a desire, Henry Ford had a Desire, Steve Jobs had a desire, Nelson Mandela had a desire, l have a desire to see your life transform from were it is now to were it destined to be this is why l write these articles each week. My question to you today is what really do you desire? A young man asked Socrates the secret to success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young man to walk him toward the river. When the water got up their neck. Socrates took the young man by surprise and ducked him into the water. The boy struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and kept him there until the boy started turning blue.

Socrates pulled his heard out of the water and the first thing the young man did was gasp and take a deep breath of air. Socrates asked, "What did you want the most when you were there?" The boy replied, "Air." Socrates said, "That is the secret to success. When you want success as badly as you wanted the air, then you will get it. There is no other secret."

  • How bad do you want to achieve your goals for the year 2020?
  • Are you willing to do whatever it takes to achieve your goals?
  • What are you biggest desires for 2020?
  • Are they by any chance fueling you to get into action?
  • How bad do you want to change you life in 2020?

Success will only manifest its self to those that have a burning desire within them to achieve success.

It was Napoleon Hill who wrote in his book Think and Grow Rich, ; Whatever the mind can conceive it can achieve.

Success will come to those that are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve theirs. It's not for those who suffer with the disease called "Excusitis" A name of the disease given to the category of people that keep making excuses. Whatever goal you have for the year be willing to go against all odds to achieve that goal.

Try this today. Try closing your nose and mouth for approximately two minutes and see how bad you will be needing air. After doing that exercise then ask ourself these questions,

  • Is the same way l was desiring air the same way l want to achieve my goals?
  • Why do l keep doing the same thing over and again and expect a different result?
  • Why am l still broke when l want to be rich?
  • Why l may living a mediocre life while l desire to live a life that is extraordinary?

People with a burning desire to achieve success make things happen. They have strong desires that keep them on their feet. The same way they desire to breath is the same way they make sure they achieve success. They do not accommodate any mediocre behaviour. When they fail they use it as a lesson for the next success. They are action orientated.

A burning desire is the starting point of all accomplishments. Just like a small fire cannot give much

heat, a weak desire cannot produce great results. - Unknown
