SCRIPT WRITER GRABBED OVER VISA DEAL – Pg. 3

A script writer, who allegedly used the names of some Ghanaian actors and actresses to acquire United Kingdom (UK) visas and substituted their pictures with those of other people, has been arrested.

Issahaque Adams, the suspect was arrested after one of the beneficiaries of his alleged deals was arrested at the Kotoka International Airport.

The head of operations of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, Chief Superintendent Amadu Salifu, told the paper in an interview.

He said late last year one of the beneficiaries of Issahaque's illegal deals, Evans Osei Bonsu, was accosted at the Kotoka International Airport when an immigration officer identified the name of Kpodo but realised that it was not his picture which was in the passport.

He said when Bonsu was interrogated, he claimed Issahaque had sold the passport to him at $4,000.
