All-Share index registers marginal gain

Accra, Feb. 23, GNA - Trading on the Accra bourse remained dull on Thursday with activity in only a handful of equities. The GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, went up by 0.87 points to close at 4,730.07 points from Wednesday's close of 4,729.20 points.

Change for the year ended at -0.82 per cent.

Traded shares were at 133,000 while Market Capitalisation was 91,845.11 billion cedis.

On the broader market, there were three price changes, one negative and two positive.

Aluworks gained 44 cedis at 5,800 cedis and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was 49 cedis better at 8,550 cedis. CAL Bank was the sole loser with 49 cedis at 1,450 cedis.
