The Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, has asked parents to help their wards achieve a high level of education.
Higher education, he believes is the best gift a parent can give to their kids.
According to him, “the fact that you suffered during your infancy does not mean you should replicate the same on your kid. We must sit down and think about our children”.
“If Ghana could stand firm, then our children must have a promising future. So I will urge parents to stand behind their wards,” he added.
Again, he advised the children against teenage pregnancy.
Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin who doubles as the President of the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs made the appeal while addressing the residents of Asamankese as part of his 20th anniversary tour of some selected towns in the Akyem Abuakwa land.
