Another Edition Of Crown Women Rising Summit Is Here

The Executive Board of Crown Women Rising- Ghana in partnership with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) is pleased to announce its inaugural Summit to be held on the 5th and 6th September 2019 at the Ghana Export Promotion Authority Conference Centre (GEPA Building), Accra-Ghana.

The Summit is organized under the theme “Women Entrepreneurs Empowered for Africa’s Prosperity: Engage, Connect and Grow”.

The Summit is also a platform for showcasing Ghana’s women-owned businesses and connecting them with investors and prospective marketing and distribution partners from across the African continent, China, the United States, Europe, and the Diaspora.

As part of our programs for 2019, it looks forward to empowering “women entrepreneurs” in Ghana and their cohorts from the region attending this Summit.

OUR GOALS CWR

Ghana is passionate about identifying, supporting and nurturing high achieving women-led businesses and talented young women.

Crown Women Rising (CWR) is a training, networking, and empowerment organization that identifies, nurtures, supports and honours high achieving women globally to promote business growth and community transformation. This is achieved by facilitating impactful engagement and providing technical assistance in their relevant sectors. OVERALL OBJECTIVES Develop strategic relationships through entrepreneurship, business-to-business (B2B) network outreach, training, and empowerment.

The Summit is a momentous forum designed to empower and help build networks among women SMEs from various ethnic backgrounds in Ghana and the West African Region. The two (2) day event will comprise of Paneled discussions and technical sessions for women-led businesses.

We plan to host over 500 women during the two (2) day event. In addition, we have partnered with Border Nation, a New York City media agency and Voice of America to broadcast the Summit overseas, which considerably extends the reach, geographical and demographic scope of the Summit.

Our media partners boast of a combined following of more than 5,000,000 people in social media and other platforms, where we intend to market the Summit. Key local media have also been put on the alert to cover and convey the summit’s messages to the larger Ghanaian public and beyond.

The CWR Ghana September summit, therefore, provides you an opportunity to reach an audience of women from various socio-economic backgrounds, most of whom are known to constitute the key purchasing power within the various family units in their communities.

The summit particularly provides increased visibility and reach of your institution and ministry to women of Africa; a growing and increasingly financially mobile demographic through our marketing activities.

CWR Ghana have committed to undertake the under mentioned key projects for the year 2020.

These are;

• To offer a “One-Stop-Shop” support to disenfranchised women in Ghana and Africa, through training, networking, capacity building, empowerment and business partnering developing to become export-ready.

• Support brilliant but needy young girls in Science and Technology in Ghana and Africa.
