On Sunday,30th June 2019, the Oti regional organizer Abubakar Salifu aka Oti Abu joins the Jasikan College of Education(JASICO) TESCON for their first general meeting.
This is to thank them for their support and confidence reposed in him as the first Oti regional Organiser and to also familiarise with the TESCON executives and members in the region and assure them of his support.
He again reiterated the fact that TESCON forms an integral part of our political tradition at the various tertiary institutions and beyond,which is evident by their active participation in campaigns outside the jurisdiction to complement the efforts of the constituency executives,which contributed immensely in the 2016 electoral victory of the NPP,and has a firm conviction that their support and contributions will drive us to victory come 2020.
Moreover, he assured them of the necessary support and logistics to make their work easier.
He also took the opportunity to bring to bear some achievements of the NPP among them is the Restoration of Teacher Trainees Training Allowances of which they are direct beneficiaries, a laudable policy which was hitherto cancelled by the NDC.
The recruitment of Teacher/Nursing trainees as well as university graduates and the unprecedented flagship Free SHS that benefits majority of Ghanaians, among others.
More also, he reminded them of the ongoing limited registration exercise and advice to help mobilize those at the age of 18 years and others who don't have the voters ID should go and register, for the NPP government and president Nana Akuffo Addo needs their vote in 2020 to continue the good work started.
In conclusion, he advise them not to allow themselves to be brainwashed by naysayers.
And urge them to remain resolute and continue their hard work towards the victory of the NPP in 2020.
