MAY 14, 2019 LISTEN

The Women's Ministry of the Church of Pentecost (CoP), Nabuli district in the Walewale Area has donated some items to women of the Nabuli Witches Camp in the North East region in celebration of this year's Mothers' Day. The items included locally made Soaps and an undisclosed amount of money.

The visit and donation was to show love to the alleged witches on the special occasion of Mothers' day. The women of the camp have been rejected by their families on allegations of being witches.

The district Minister's wife, Mrs. Adu Ellen used the opportunity to advice members of the Church to 'open a hand of support to inmates of the camp'. She further hinted that, 'the Women Ministry will visit the inmates at regular occasions to extend support and also express continuous love to them'.

A health talk was also organized by the Women to keep the women in the community healthy. The In-Charge of the Nabuli clinic, Mr. Ebenezer Brown also educated the community on safe family planning methods.

In attendance was the Area Women's Ministry Leader of CoP Walewale Area, Deaconess Faustina Konlan. She prayed for the inmates and praised the Women's ministry for the kind initiative. The events also climaxed the celebration of the Women's Ministry Week of the Church of Pentecost.
