The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ASEDA FOUNDATION in Sekondi Takoradi of Western Region, Miss Diana Adjei has rubbished a news item published by ghanaweb and authored by one lsaac Mensah on December 11, 2018, titled 'Mpohor MP and DCE in a hoax apprenticeship programme'.

In a quick rebuttal, the CEO who was visibly angry with the reportage lamented seriously and said considering the revered credibility of ghanaweb, the reporter should have cross checked from the FOUNDATION before publishing such a blatant lies told him by some individuals he claimed he granted interviews just to suit their personal political vendetta against the MP and the DCE .

The CEO continued that a little checks by the author would have saved him this embarrassment to this reputable network which is the most widely read online.

She continued that in setting the records straight, all the beneficiary youths sponsored by the Member of Parliament for Mpohor Constituency, Hon. Alex AGYEKUM and the District Chief Executive Hon Ignatius Asaah Mensah, are at post and anyone can visit our FOUNDATION for verification.

It is also on record that a day after this supposed interview conducted by the so called 'Isaac Mensah', Hon. Asaah Mensah met some of the beneficiary apprentices who were being prepared to write NVTI Exams as shown in the pictures attached.

The ASEDA FOUNDATION has cross-checked the hundreds (100) of the Mpohor apprentices files and surprisingly none of the them has a parent called David Cudjoe, as reported by the author, who claimed her ward was sacked. This make the FOUNDATION to conclude that the reporter might have been compromised by some PERCEIVE political opponents of the duo.

The CEO appealed to the editors of ghanaweb to normally cross check these wild allegations before publishing them since such publication may dent the image of the personalities involved and appealed to the Editor to give her the same publication as he did to the said story.

The CEO added that currently there are over Hundreds of apprentices from Mpohor District who are benefitting from the initiatives of the MP and DCE at the communities and through ASEDA FOUNDATION

"Once again reporters who wish to live to their sort must cross check their information before publishing", she advised.

She advised disgruntle and peeved politicians in Mpohor Constituency NOT to involve or use ASEDA FOUNDATION in their irresponsible politicking.

Meanwhile this reporter was at the FOUNDATION and saw hundreds of apprentices from Mpohor District wearing T-shirts bearing Mpohor District inscription and interviewed many who denied the report that they have been SACKED from the FOUNDATION and appeal to the good people of Mpohor District to disregard the said publication and commended the MP and the DCE for their good works which they have benefitted hugely.

The beneficiaries pleaded with the MP and the DCE not to be distracted by the publication and continue sponsoring vulnerable people who want to join the FOUNDATION for posterity will never forget them.
