'We shall construct SHS, Mile-5 road, football pitch and ultramodern Hospital' - Tarkwa MP

Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa Nsuaem, Hon. George Mireku-Duker has assured the people of Nsuaem community in the Constituency of the Western Region to collaborate with some stakeholders to facilitate the construction of a Senior High School, football pitch for the area.

According to him, the stakeholders include, the Deputy Western Regional Minister, Mrs. Eugenia Gifty Kusi and the Municipal Chief Executive for Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality (MCE), Hon. Gilbert Ken Asmah.

The MP also promised to build an ultramodern Hospital for the Nsuaem Community to save lives.

He also pledged to construct Mile 5 road that link to the Nsuaem to easy movement of goods and services.

Hon George Duker made this known during the climax of 'APA KESE' annual festival of the Chiefs and people of Nsuaem on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

Presenting his speech, the Member of Parliament said, "We are very much concern about the provision of quality education in the Nsuaem community as has been the ideology of NPP-Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo government".

"We recognize that, if we make education a priority, we tackle all aspect of human development. He further stated categorically that, plans are far advanced in the construction of this edifice. This in a way, will sell the name of Nsuaem nationwide as student of diverse locations will be posted to the school and also create employment", he stressed.

Additionally, the MP indicated his outfit is working tirelessly with the Ministry of Roads and Highway to fully commence work on the Nsuaem-Mile-5 Road as earlier promised on Wednesday, 7th November, 2018 by the Sector Minister, Hon. Kwesi Amoako-Atta in the Municipality.

Speaking at the durbar in commemoration of the festival at Nsuaem Town Park, the MP reiterated, "We will construct an Ultramodern Hospital furnished with the needed facilities to improve your healthcare delivery".

"The government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is on course to deliver on the promise made in the 2016 electioneering period geared to transform Ghana and improve the lives of Ghanaians", he affirmed.

He further, disclosed that, he has discussed extensively the construction of the Nsuaem Community Town Park with the MCE and that contractors will soon be on site to give it a befitting facelift as they so desire to have a football team for the division side.

Zeroing in on the developmental agenda of creating job for the people, Hon. Duker declared their admiration for the modernity Nana Kwamena Adade II, Chief of Nsuaem and his Council of Elders has brought to the Chiefdom and urged them set a special day among the days of the week as a MARKET DAY to facilitate trading activities in the Community.

He also encouraged his constituents to use this day to Commemorate the frontiers of the "APA KESE" in promoting peace, unity and cordial coexistence among each other in the Nsuaem Community.

He further thanked them for exercising restraint for his NPP government since the inception of the imposed ban on small scale mining and promised the NPP government will soon lift the ban.

A cash prize of Five Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 50,000) was also presented to Nananom to help the activity by the MP.
