All is set for Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia to launch the Ghana Online Mall tomorrow, 15th October 2018. The platform is expected to provide extensive market platform for indigenous businesses as well as small and medium scale enterprises (SME’s).

Director of Business Support at National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP), Dr. Owusu Karikari confirmed the launching of the Platform yesterday in an interview with Class FM at the end of an Entrepreneurship Seminar held at the Kumasi Technical University.

The Electronic Platform under the auspices of the Ministry of Business Development and National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) will serve as a market place for all Ghanaian businesses and SME’s to thrive.

The Online Mall will provide ten thousand E-Spaces for registered local businesses to showcase their wholesome products and services to Ghana and beyond.

“On Monday under the auspices of the Ministry of Business Development and the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan, His Exellency the vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be launching the Ghana Online Mall and the NEIP market place which is a marketing platform for all Ghanaian small and medium scale enterprises”

He continued “This will begin with ten thousand businesses on the platform to be able to showcase their products to the outside world. Not only the local market in Ghana but to the other countries. In Europe, in America and in the other African Countries so that they can be able to have access to the locally made products that are being churn out from Ghana.

He further indicated that the new platform has been created free of charge for Ghanaian SME’s to market their products. A Ghanaian business will have the privilege to upload five of their products and services on the platform for free. He however adds that if a business want to engage in other services, that will go for a fee.
