Tain District Assembly in the Brong Ahafo region is embarking on 45 kilometers road reshaping exercise in some communities in the district to enhance movement in the district.
The move is to ensure that residents of the district get access to good roads that will enable them embark on their daily activities without hindrances and to also to facilitate transportation of goods and services in the district.
The roads includes Njau to Fula, Njau to Asuogya, Yabraso to Fabewoso, Debibi to Banda wai, Badu to Mmoakwae, Atumfourso town roads, Atumfourso to Asuafo, Adadease Junction to Adadease, kogua to Mfordwo.
The District Chief Executive, Lawyer Charity Akua Foriwaa Dwommoh during her visit to inspect the progress of work said that as they are waiting for some of the roads to be done by central government, it is also the responsibility of the Assembly to ensure other roads in the district are motorable.
According to her most of the roads linking some of the communities in the district are in bad state hence the need for the reshaping exercise.
