NPP NYO Race: Henry Nana Boakye; An Embodiment Of Pragmatic Leadership

As the birds of the earth were chirping, so were the voices of the hinterlands, singing in a melodious harmony, saying…. “we need a youth leader who can make a case for us when He gets to NEC”. Another fine-tuned, we need a leader who is can reliable, any-day, anytime, anywhere! Then, there came the echoes of the forefathers… in synergy, they said… ‘’ we laid down our lives for this party to be where it is today, guard it with your life by making sure, He who the cup fits, gets to wear the crown of the youth wing”.

As I sat down to ponder over the words of the forefathers and the endorsement of mother nature, I said to myself, but are just these two voices enough to crown Nana B? Right there, I heard the thunderous voices of the living masses, re-emphasizing and chanting, “in the run up to elections 2016, we laboured with Nana B during day and night. Although he occupied no official party office, yet we felt his presence across the length and breadth of this country. That’s a perfect description of proactiveness and pragmatism. We prayed with him and the Lord kept his word and we saw the face of a resounding unprecedented victory. Now is the turn of patriots to reap from where they sowed. Prayers of some patriots have been answered and the unanswered ones needs to be re-enforced. We need Henry Nana Boakye to intercede and lead us in this prayer, for in him the forefathers and the elders of our time are pleased. This is the voice of the masses and vox populi, vox Deum, thus, the voice of the people is the voice of God.

Moving forward, we envisage a future where the sons and daughters of our party will go into every party battle knowing very well, that in times of challenges, there’s a welfare fund to deal with the adversaries. The more reason why the declaration by Henry Nana Boakye to institute a welfare fund is one holy idea that needs to be lauded!
