Jubilee House And NPP Have Neglected Me--Hajia Fati

Hajia Fati aka Allegation Woman, a firebrand and lead activist of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has poured out her frustrations at certain developments and issues ever since the NPP convincingly won the 2016 General Elections.

According to Hajia Fati, who is believed to have played a pivotal role in the NPP electioneering campaign, after fighting hard for the party in 2016, she has been neglected by the same people she helped to win power.

She said those surrounding the President Nana Akufo-Addo at the seat of government, Jubilee House, have also prevented her on several occasions from meeting the President to tell him her problems.

She was speaking in an interview with this reporter at the NPP Headquarters at Asylum Down in Accra on Friday.

Hajia Fati on Friday caused a stir at the NPP Headquarters when she prevented Sammy Crabbe, from picking nomination forms to contest for the position of National Chairman in the upcoming national executive elections of the party.

"I was told I will be given some position in government but till date nothing has happened and if I try to see the President, Nana Akufo-Addo they give me all kinds of execuses," a charged and angry Hajia Fati lamented.

She warned those at the presidency to be careful how they treat those at the grassroots since political victory always comes from the grounds and not the top.

"It is the grassroot that win elections and not those at the top; we struggled to win the power and now they are enjoying today. At the right time, we shall see what will happen," Hajia Fati stated.

She further went on to remind the NPP that the 2020 General Elections is not too far away.

"We are all here today, 2020 is coming again we shall see who will go down to the people and tell them our message," she warned.
