Asutifi North NPP youth call on delegates to vote wisely

A section of the NPP members in the Asutifi North Constituency of the Brong Ahafo region are calling on delegates who will be participating in the up-coming elections to vote for people whose track record shows that when given the nod he or she can help the party to consolidate its electoral fortunes in 2020.

The delegates are therefore being asked to choose regional executives who are true party members who honestly have the interest of the party at heart and would be willing and ready to go the extra mile to make the party attractive to all.

Speaking to the media in Sunyani, a Spokesperson of the NPP youth in the Asutifi North Constituency, Kennedy Adu-Agyei further advised delegates not to vote for their Constituency Chairman, Francis Opoku Sarfo, who is now seeking the Regional Chairmanship position in the up-coming elections.

Mr. Adu-Agyei noted that Mr. Opoku Sarfo has run down the party in the Asutifi North since he crossed the carpet from the NDC to the NPP and managed to become the Constituency Chairman to the extent that the constituency office at Kenyase is virtually dysfunctional.

“The office cannot boast of anything as the office furniture provided before Mr. Opoku Sarfo assumed office as constituency chairman are all broken down and as a result he holds meetings either in his house or the Church of Pentecost at Kenyase.”

They also accused him of being temperamental, dishonest, not accountable, divisive, disrespectful, arrogant egoistic and above all, lack the ability to build consensus.

“The NPP youth in the Asutifi North Constituency….wish to unequivocally state that Mr. Francis Opoku Sarfo is not the right calibre of person required to lead the region. We therefore caution the delegates not to make the grave mistake but vote against Francis Opoku Sarfo before we come back to say had I known.

All efforts to get Mr. Opoku Sarfo to respond to the issues raised against him proved futile as he refused to pick up all the calls made on his line. Besides, he did not also respond to the issues when reached on his whatz up line.
