Kwabena Agyapong Please Rehibernate – 3nk) Ye3 Ma Wo

My disappointment in KwabenaAgyei Agyapong (KAA) has stemmed from his sudden change of colours upon assumption of office as the substantive General Secretary of the NPP. Unknown to many was his nihilistic attitude blended with some sort of self-aggrandising narcissism that finally went sour. Haven’t you heard the utterances of Hon Kennedy Agyepong, who said on radio and television, numerous times, that he was stabbed in the back by KAA for not respecting his vow to campaign for Nana Akufo-Addo if the latter won the primaries in 2015?

The issue is with the high suspicion that he had connived with Ibrahim Mahama to destroy the chances of Akufo-Addo. Here I make reference to the tape that was aired severally on radio purporting to be Ibrahim Mahama’s, who was heard saying that he would use his people in the NPP to destroy the party, not to mention the green Toyota Landcruiser that he gifted KAA.

I have personally chronicled the events of his shameful tenure as General Secretary. The kind of manoeuvring to reduce the chances of Nana Akufo-Addo winning the primaries was so dirty that it appalled me. Look, for whatever it is worth, he cannot wash off the stain of shame that has blemished him indelibly. He became the lieutenant of Paul Afoko the tyrant. This is the same man who lied through his teeth in an attempt to tarnish the NPP because it was said that he had promised Ibrahim and John Mahama not to allow the NPP get its way in 2016 against a certain arrangement. What that arrangement was will soon be uncovered, but time will tell the kind “Afoko” Paul was. Nyametease!

KAA soon went into hibernation after he was advised that supporting Paul Afoko in court against the NPP was going to smoke him out. It did, anyway, before he walked into the shadows. Then I saw him at the recent NPP National Delegates Conference. Oh my GOD!

The white Emirates gown neither portrayed him as a pious Christian nor Muslim; and the head gear…Lord have mercy! Anyway, latest snippets of information I am getting is that he is making his rounds in the regions and has paid some people to embellish his image in an attempt to impress on the NPP to reinstate him. What! That is a near impossibility because as quiet as he seemed to have been, his hands were doing the nocturnal damage that the grassroots continually agitated against, according to feedback.

What is worse is that he is building a storm to force his reinstatement by daring the NPP. He claims that his suspension is unconstitutional. What baloney! The courts are there, so he should go and seek redress. The NDC lawyers are everywhere, and I am sure they will want this opportunity to malign the NPP. The few who support him will definitely abandon ship whenthey know what he did to Akufo-Addo, unless of course they are his boys. Yooo, we hear you, Kwabena!

I am advising this man to just go back into hibernation. For someone whose father was gruesomely murdered and burned by the PNDC, the predecessor of the NDC, it was a perpetual tattoo of shame on him to have colluded with the hierarchy of that party at the peril of his own, and the very person, Nana Akufo-Addo, who defended and mentored him for many many years since the horrible incident.

KwabenaAgyei Agyapong, should not try to sell himself again because the trust andfavour that he enjoyed have long dissipated into space. The goodwill no longer exists, and those who call for his reinstatement may either be suffering same schizophrenia or lack of respect for authority. In any case, as revelations and events continue to unfold, the NPP will be careful dealing with such miscreants!

Kwabena, you have done enough damage as it is already, so do not try to fan the cinders. You will be burned first. Watch this space for more revelations.
