WordDigest: Secrets of God (4) Plan

WordDigest: Secrets of God 4 Plan
27.11.2017 LISTEN

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you asnd not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

[Jeremiah 29:11] NIV
At a point in the book of Jeremiah, most of the Jews were taken into exile in Babylonia.

The Jews whom the Nebuchadnezzar took as prisoners were from Jerusalem.

You can imagine the sort of discomfort and pain they were confronted with while in slavery.

In that, God still had a plan for His people.
God planned to bring to them the future they have hoped for.

What was the plan?
The future hoped for was the returning of Jews from exile.

Nehemiah and Ezra were some of the Jews who returned from exile.

Folks God's calling and purpose for you cannot be successful without any challenge.

The challenges in life should not kill your hope in God.

Because where there is a challenge, victory is just around corner.

Although the Jews were tortured, God still had a good plan for their future.

Can you compare your difficulty in life to that?
Sometimes we encounter challenges and we are like "God why me?".

Thus why we do not have the plan but God does.
No matter what is happening never loose hope in Christ Jesus.

Why would you be alive if God has no plan(s) for you?

So far as heaven and earth exist God's plan is still at work.

God bless you.
Prayer
Dear God, let your will be done in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.
