The University of Cape Coast (UCC), School of Graduate Studies (SGS) held the 50th congregation for fresh graduands under various fields over the weekend which comprised the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Joncaring Foundation as well as the CEO of Dream Weaver Organization, Mr. John Agbegah and Mr. Jonathan Tetteh-Kwao respectively in Cape Coast in the central region as the duo has successfully acquired masters in Arts, Democracy, Governance, Law and Development course, Saturday October 21, 2017 at the New Examination Centre, UCC.

Wives, as well as family members graced the occasion with pleasant congratulation messages and good wishes to keep them moving as they've attained masters in developing the family and also the country in a whole.

Speaking after the event with John Agbegah, "we are already working under governance and as this masters has been attained, the knowledge, skills and attitude acquired will equip us to do more in developing the country, Ghana" he said.

He promised to apply the achieved course massively to sustain the environment of which the natural and mineral resources such as gold, oil, forest reserve etc. to the benefit of the incarnation.

Mr. Tetteh-Kwao lamented that the course acquired will go in developing the country's economy since he has been sufficiently prepared to make meaningful contribution in developing and sustaining the Mineral and natural resources and equally contributes to governance to help the people living in the country.

The duo therefore showed sincere gratitude to God of seeing them through the course, the lectures of the university and the entire University of granting them that compressive knowledge and skills to help the world.

"All the Universities in Ghana are performing very well but I can boldly tell you that University of Cape Coast (UCC) is doing a very wonderful job" John Agbegah told Nana Adjei.

The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) began as a committee on Higher Degrees, with a mandate to advise Senate on the University’s graduate scholarship policy and recommend the award of scholarships for approval. In 1992, the committee on Higher Degrees was elevated to the Board of Graduate Studies, and to the School of Graduate Studies and Research on 1st August 2015, the name was changed to School of Graduate Studies. The Board of School of Graduate Studies (SGS) is a sub-committee of Academic Board and is charged with responsibility for administering graduate education in the University of Cape Coast.
