Worddigest: Do Not Be Filled With Jealousy

"Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy.

They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail."

What is jealousy?
It is a feeling of anger and sadness because someone has something you do not have or better than what you have.

In the above verses, having performed miracles and wonders for all in Solomon's porch, the High Priest and other local party of the Sadducees became jealous of the apostles (Peter and others).

They arrested and jailed the apostles.
According to them the apostles performed wonders in Jesus' name.

Beloved jealousy can make you act evil without thinking twice.

Of course jealousy is a human nature.
But would you allow it to destroy you.
It you do not have something today think about tomorrow.

There is time for everything.
Do away with jealousy wherever you are before it becomes a giant.
