President Akufo Addo  Saves Ghana

The collapse of the Nsuta galamsey pit burying alive 22 illegal miners is a lesson that must be learnt that God has taken sides in the fight against the galamsey phenomenon in Ghana.

The unfortunate incident happened right after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo had given a presidential order stopping all galamsey activities in the country.

Those who are faulting this presidential order are like the ancient Israelites who defied God’s instruction through Moses that no individual should go out on the Sabbath day to gather manna that God had rained down for them in the Sinai desert.

Those who went out on the Sabbath to gather the manna found out that the whitish- strange food had become worm-infested and it stank.

God indeed was furious with those who were recalcitrant and could have snuffed their lives out to serve as a deterrent for the rest.

But why should these recalcitrant galamseyers openly defy the President’s order to stop their illegal mining activities?

If it is the President’s order they are defying, it is equally the same as defying God Almighty who created the earth, the trees and the water bodies for the good of mankind.

Has President Akufo Addo then saved Ghana and its people from a divine retribution? The answer is big YES. God was about to pour His divine indignation on Ghana had the President not ordered for the halt of the galamsey activities.

It does not need anyone to predict God’s anger on us as we the people bear witness of these sordid illegal mining activities.

We all, including the perpetrators have wailed and complained bitterly about how our forest, water bodies and farms have been destroyed.

It is all for man’s greed to seek for wealth from the earth at the cost of the earth’s destruction.

Any examples of God bringing divine retributions on his chosen nation Israel when they sinned against He God or the Kings he had ordained for them?

Many indeed!
Psalm 106 verse 40 says “Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people and He abhorred His heritage”.

Verse 41: “He gave them into the land of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them”.

Verse 42: “Their enemies opposed them and they were brought into subjection under their power”.

That means God used foreign invasions to get His unrepentant chosen people sent into exile in military conquest. Does the earth in Ghana belongs to the rich and the politically-powerful Ghanaians and their Chinese accomplices?

The Lord God says authoritatively that heaven is His throne and the earth His footstool.

The Prophet Amos declared in the book of Amos chapter 4 verse 13 ”For behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the winds and declares to man his thoughts. Who makes the morning darkness and treads on the heights of the earth- the Lord , the God of host is His name”

God in His anger caused the Assyrians to invade the ten-tribed Israel and sent them into exile around seven 740 BC and they were scattered into all nations up to this day.

So was the two-tribed Kingdom of Juda and Benjamin which was conquered by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and sent them into captivity for 70 years.

God in his anger declared that by so doing his land which had suffered pollution just as we are doing in Ghana be left to rest.

Did Ghana come under a divine retribution of being conquered by a super power in these modern times and the people sent into slavery for God’s land to be rested?

There could be that posibilty if we don’t stop our unholy activities degrading the land God has blessed us worth.

Nana Akufo Addo who some people made false prophecies that “he will not be President of Ghana” has become a true testimony to the scoffers and the skewed -minded people.

God is no respecter of persons. He chooses who ever will be humble to do his will and like the shepherd boy David, God passed over the political giants of the house of Jesse to choose David for his anointing through the Prophet Samuel.

Moses was a murderer and even a stamerer but God chose him to liberate the Israelites from their bondage in Egypt.

It was Moses who spoke face to face with God and interceded for the Israelites whenever God’s anger kindled against them for their disobedience. So it is that God chose the “insignificant” and the “politically non-entity” Nana Akuffo Addo to beat the “best boy of the moment” to become the President of the Republic of Ghana in AD 2017.

Like Moses, President Nana Akuffo Addo has raised the voice of God in Ghana that the earth belongs to the God Almighty for us to stop polluting and degrading it for our selfish ends.

Therefore who ever will be disobedient to the President is considered as an act of disrespect to God if any group or individuals will continue to do the galamsey activities.

God will henceforth choose to bury them right in the earth they are doing the galamsey activities just as he had done with the Nsuta galamseyers or will choose to cause army worms and locusts to invade our land.

We must not lose sight of the fact that Ghana is indeed the Israel of Africa and that God is watching us closely to bring us in line as He did with the ancient Israelites.

HAIL PRESIDENT NANA AKUFO ADDO FOR BEING OUR MOSES TO INTERCEDE FOR GHANA OR WE MUST BE READY TO GO INTO EXILE FOR DESTROYING THE LAND.
