Three persons have been confirmed dead in a fatal accident at Asamankese in the Lower West Akim municipality of the Eastern Region Monday morning.
Six persons also sustained various degrees of injury and have been admitted at the Asamankese Government and the Koforidua Regional Hospitals receiving treatment.
DAILY GUIDE gathered that the accident occurred when a Toyota vehicle full of passengers from Akyem Oda and heading for Accra, attempted to prevent a head-on collision.
The d bodies have since been deposited at the Asamankese Hospital pending autopsy.
The Asamankese police officers later stormed the scene to tow the mangled vehicles to the station.
