I Thought President Mahama Was A Magician

After all the brouhaha by the NDC and President Mahama, distributing outboard motors, aprons, GHC10 notes, pieces of cloths, machetes, kilos of fertilizers, cars, houses and other vote-influencing gifts to some people, the horse from its mouth is now neighing, “I am not a magician to put money into people’s pockets”

All along I had thought, and assumed that President Mahama was a magician who could conjure gifts to enrich the poor but not knowing he has always been a fake “korofasa” (magician) stealing from the State coffers to heavily enrich a few people like Madam Akua Donkor, Koku Anyidoho aka Margaret Jackson/Nana Akua Tweneboah Koduah, Kofi Adams, etc. He then fools other section of the population with aprons, kilos of rice, tins of geisha and sardines, etc.

Now that the nation is in euphoric mood for change of government, making the supposedly but lied-about, greater achievements by President Mahama pale to nothing, he has come out to declare that he is not a magician to put money into people’s pockets but they had rather go out to seek job themselves to make them rich.

How could we find jobs to do when he has facilitated official corruption in Ghana with those in government, his cronies, family members, NDC gurus and his hired radio phone-in serial callers and radio programme presenters like Mugabe of Montie FM depleting the State’s coffers, leaving no money behind to create jobs?

How can we find jobs to do to put money into our pockets when he has assisted and continues to assist Alfred Agbesi Woyome to swindle Ghana of GHC51.2 million and still be protective of him from the long arms of the law?

Once a supposed magician with the magic spell “Abracadabra” which means "I create as I speak”, why can’t he now make money flow into the pockets of every Ghanaian but only his cronies and then comes out publicly to deny that he is a magician? Did he not by his magical powers enrich Madam Akua Donkor of “Enye nono”?

Anyway, President Mahama, whether he is a magician or not, has deceived Ghanaians and spoiled Ghana with his corrupt practices so I invite all Ghanaians to vote him out by voting for Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP on 7 December 2016.

All the magical prowess of that shameless Charlotte Osei, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission will fail same as that of President Mahama has failed him hence coming out publicly to bark out the words, “I am not a magician to put money into people’s pockets”. Therefore, she must cease her resolute determination to rig the election for NDC and President Mahama through the successive implementation of her failing Plans A, B, C, D and so on and so forth.
