The Northern regional police command is in search of four robbers for attacking and robbing mobile money dealer at Kalpohini Estate a suburb of Tamale.
According to the regional police Public Relations Officer, Assistant Suprentendent of Police, ASP Ebernizer Terttey who spoke in an interview with Radio Tamale, a local radio station, the robbers attacked one Abdullah, name of the mobile money dealer and made away with Gh¢26,000.00 shooting him and two others afterwards.
He Said the victim was in his shop on Saturday evening around 9:30GMT when the robbers, four in number came, two of the robbers who were holding local manufactured AK47 rifles entered the shop attacked the money dealer whiles the other two waited on motor bikes.
The robbers demanded from the mobile money dealer to hand to them all the money on him which he did, but on leaving, they shot him in the stomach and two others; one barber believed to be 30years old and a boy of 20 years and run away before police could get there.
The three were however rushed to the Tamale Teaching Hospital where they are receiving treatments.
He said the police has since gathered the necessary information concerning the incident and the robbers will soon be apprehended.
