EDIF supports CEPS

Accra, Feb. 23, GNA - The Export Development and Investment Fund (EDIF) on Wednesday presented 10 computers; a fax machine, a printer and an industrial photocopier machine worth 285 million cedis to the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) in Accra.

The donation is to enhance CEPS' automated programme at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), Tema Port and the Aflao Boarder. Brigadier Richardson Ekow Baiden, Commissioner of CEPS, said the equipment would go a long way to help in the computerization process of the Service.

Mr Timothy Kwabena Obeng, Chief Executive Officer of EDIF, said the Secretariat was committed to assisting CEPS to increase revenue its collection.
