Accra, May. 19, GNA - Huawei Technologies Ghana (HTG) has launched its latest flagship, 'Huawei P9' in Accra to give its customers more smartphone satisfaction.

The smartphone is the first co-engineered with the global iconic brand, Leica Camera AG, resulting in a stunning dual-lens camera in a Smartphone which sets a new benchmark.

Mr Robin Sun, Country Manager for Device Business at HTG said: 'Huawei is excited to give Ghanaian consumers the best Smartphone photography experience by leveraging the unrivalled capabilities of Leica, the leader in the world of imaging for more than 100 years'.

He said the camera has more light and enough clarity to capture brilliant colour and striking black and white images in true Leica style.

Ms Sufaiya Jim Ibrahim Tanko, Retail and Marketing Manager, HTG said one reason why they don't sell Huawei power banks is because their phones are already power banks.

She noted that the phone also protects users' privacy and information security with Huawei's biometric fingerprint recognition technology.

She said the enhanced fingerprint sensor allows users to personalise and safeguard their devices by significantly lowering the possibility of fraudulent or accidental device access, while also ensuring that users could quickly and securely access their Smartphone.

Ms Ibrahim Tanko said with a 5.2 inch 1080 display, the P9 is powered by the new Kirin 955 2.5GHz 64-bit ARM-based processor for leading class mobile performances and the 3000mAh high density battery offers users good mobility and battery life.

She therefore urged their customers to experience the almost GH¢ 2000.00 Smartphone in any shopping centre to get a chance to be part of the 10 lucky customers who would have an all expense paid trip to watch the Euro 2016 football tournament in France at the end of the draw in June with support from the National Lottery Authority (NLA).

She urged customers in the middle and high earned platform to go and experience Huawei Smartphones in shopping malls across the country to get the best services from Android.

She disclosed that HTG is running a promotion where 10 of their customers would be given a fully paid trip to France to witness the upcoming UEFA European Cup slated for France in June with support from the NLA.

Debora Vanessa Owusu Bonsu, a Television presenter who is the brand influencer of the Smartphone said she is proud of what Huawei is doing for Ghana and therefore proud to be associated with a brand that gives value for money.

'I also love the phone because it is light, solid and takes good pictures', she said.

She expressed the hope to influence the brand more as she get the opportunity to attract her love ones to experience the brand at the sales activation launch.

Elorm Adablah, a Hiplife Artiste and Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year who is also a brand influencer said: 'Huawei is a premium brand and I'm happy to be associated with it'.

He urged Huawei to give Ghanaians more services that would serve their technological needs.
