Takoradi, June 18, GNA - A Pastor of the New Atuabo Church of Christ, on Wednesday said the country was in dire need of true elders to guide her leadership with their experience and expertise.
Pastor Joshua Midson who made the call, therefore, suggested the formation of Former Leaders Association, irrespective of the political background, to direct current leaders of the country in development.
He told the GNA in an interview that just as any household has 'Ebusuapanyin', the nation indeed needed true elders who would passionately chart positive course for the socio-economic and religious advancement of the country.
The Church of Christ Minister added that some people were going through terrible situations, and needed such elders as comforters who would be readily accessible and approachable.
Such elders, he said, would guide the country's ministers in doing the right thing, to learn how to live independently, and most importantly direct, advice and correct sitting governments. GNA
