Happenings in the NPP is our trade mark – Nana Tuffour
A leading member and a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Tuffour says what is happening in the NPP is not a new thing but something that started somewhere in 1954.
Nana Tuffour said since the founding days of the Busia, Danquah Dombo tradition there have been evil characters who would go the extra mile to cause confusion in the party when their favorite are not manning affairs.
He says calling for the resignation of the National Party Chairman, Mr. Paul Afoko and the General Secretary, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong now is not the best but rather can spell doom for the elephant fraternity.
He says what is happening did happen in the past and that made them stay in opposing for 30 years so the time has come for the leadership to sit up and finds a better way of dealing with the challenge.
He says the flag bearer of the party Nana Addo should come out and tell the party hierarchy to concentrate of the 2016 election and let the National Security do their work in arriving at the bottom of the acid case that happened in the Upper East of the country.
The Founding Leader said this is not the time to cry for the exit of the two leaders of the great NPP rather the focus should be how to win power come 2016.
He called on party sympathizers and faithful to calm tensions everywhere for the rule of law to take its cause.
