PROPOSAL FOR FUNDS FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION ON CORRUPTION

The outcry of corruption most especially in the public sector cannot be over emphasized and lives to be much desired.

The corruption in Ghana of late is increasing at an increasingly rate and is causing great financial lost to the state, putting money in to the pocket of few persons and leaving the majority of Ghanaians to the mercy of poverty.

Infect, we acknowledge the efforts of individuals and the government for forming committee such as public accounts committees, Ghana Anti-corruption control Network and others, however, in order to rid this social cancer in the bid, the Ghana corruption control Network in Yendi led by Mr, Alhassan Wemah Mumuni saw the need to hold workshop with stakeholders in Yendi and outside Yendi Municipality, GTV and Radio programmes once a week to discuss the effects of corruption on nation, her development and the people of Ghana at large in every quarter.

Also, to encourage the citizenry to fight, discourage and report any corruption case in the communities to appropriate authorities of offices.

Besides, encourage Ghanaians to assist in the investigation in to corruption cases and also to help fish out the corrupt officials in the society.

It is on the above basis that, corruption control Network- Yendi is seeking for financial support from your reputable organisation to help carry out the above activities on GTV, Radio and stakeholder meeting in Yendi with the budget below:
