Accra, Feb. 6, GNA - HAGGAI Institute Alumni Association of Ghana on Wednesday fixed February 23 for a medical and evangelism outreach programme at Iron City Community, near Kasoa to meet both the spiritual and health needs of the people.

A statement to the Ghana News Agency in Accra signed by Mrs Gloria Lamptey Haggai, Ghana Administrative Manager, said a team of doctors and nurses would check the blood pressure, eye screening, hepatitis-B screening and provide medication.

The statement said the evangelism component would focus on group and personal evangelism, and one-on-one counseling.

Haggai Institute is an international and interdenominational Christian ministry founded in 1969 to equip Africans, Asians and Latin American Christian leaders with the Gospel of Christ to evangelize and train others to win souls for Christ.

Founded by Dr. John Edmund Haggai, the Institute seeks to help ensure that the Gospel is presented in the power of the Holy Spirit with cultural relevance and sensitivity to all peoples, especially in non-evangelized nations of the world.

The missions also advance the skills of qualified Christian leaders to more effectively evangelize their own people and train others to do the same.
