
Sekondi, Sept 19, GNA - Mr Paul Evans Aidoo, Western Regional Minister, on Wednesday advised school authorities not to use buses meant for their schools for their private ventures.
He said the buses and pick-ups had been presented to the schools to help promote education and other relevant activities of schools and must remain as such.
On behalf of the government, Mr Aidoo presented ten buses to ten schools in the Western Region at a brief ceremony at the Western Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).
The beneficiary senior high schools include Juaboso, Akontombra, Bia, Archbishop Porter, Fijai and a Catholic Vocation Institute in Takoradi.
Mr Joseph Bagbin, Head Master of Saint Mary's SHS received the buses on behalf of the schools and promised that they would be used judiciously for the intended purpose.
