A new range of high quality plastic houseware products has been introduced onto the Ghanaian market.
The plastic product, obtained from bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical with no serious health implications, is the first of its kind in the country.
The elegant products are made up of the tritan-glass transparent and plastic -light materials, a major requirement that meets the European Union certification for food safety.
The products have air tight containers that keep food fresh and prevents evaporation. It is also heat resistance and durable.
Due to the presence of polycarbonate and fiber it can withstand temperatures of -30 degree Celsius to +100 degree Celsius and is very strong to break.
The products, manufactured by Komax Limited, the largest plastic manufacturing company in Korea with testing and certification analysis approved by the microbac laboratories in the United States of America.
The product comes in two types, kloken and Biokips.
Sean Park, Managing Director of Glorious Majesty Company Limited, the sole agents of the products in West Africa, noted that the product is made up of eco-friendly materials and meets the highest international safety standards anywhere in the world.
He said in spite of the durability of the products, the prices are affordable.
