After five years of operations in Ghana, Intercontinental Bank Ghana (IBG), which started with only five branches, has opened its 28th branch.

Located within the plush airport area in Accra, the Airport Business Office of IBG, is expected to target mainly corporate customers of the bank, as well as businesses and individuals in the airport area.

With the opening of this branch, IBG has kept faith with its vision of a bank with a strong presence across the country.

The newly-opened office is strategically positioned to serve both corporate clients and individuals who would walk into the bank to access excellent customer services and products that would satisfy the needs of its customers.

Corporate individuals and businesses which patronize the Airport Business Office, should expect quality service from its well trained, experienced and courteous staff, the bank said.

IBG has a diversified portfolio of Corporate Banking units equipped with the right staff to handle a broad spectrum of financial advice ranging from energy, exports, mining and cocoa, manufacturing, telecoms and trading.

The corporate banking would also support business with financing and critical financial advice on oil and gas.

Commenting on the opening of the new branch, the Marketing Communications Department said, 'We are happy that we have once again reduced the stress of customers having to come long distances into our offices. We will continue to bring our services closer to our customers for whom we exist.'

Recently, IBG launched its range of the Visa Cards, which are IBG Prepaid, Credit and Gift Cards.

These would complement many products and services the bank offers to boost convenience for its customers.
